Apparel industry leader and founder of Lio Studio Inc., Flavia Dawson brings over fifteen years helping designers and brands to achieve their vision to creating and developing from concept to final products.  Over the course of her career, she has worked with many recognized apparel designers and brands, to assist with product development, cost efficiency and quality of design. Profound knowledge and insight of garment construction, fit and to complete sample in the most appropriate way.  Understand design and production needs with immense knowledge into the process of starting a fashion label, guiding her clients through development and production process.  Her experience spans all aspects of small to large volume productions both domestically and internationally.

Lio Studio Inc. is a service provider with many years of experience; we offer professional services to well-established companies and independent designers.  We specialize in woven, knit, men, women, children, athletic wear, and soft goods.  Our company can assist designers from concept to completion with apparel pattern making, sample sewing, pattern grading and more.  We believe in offering an affordable pattern making service with no hidden fees and work one on one with clients to understand their vision.  We strive to provide the customer with efficient, accurate, and detailed services.

Service Details

How it works

Work is completed on an hourly-basis

 
 

Pricing

  • Sample pricing $45(hourly)

  • Pattern-making $90(hourly) 1 hour minimum to start a project 30min inc after that

  • Meeting / Fitting $90(hourly)

  • Copies (Patterns) $10.00 per style per size

  • Copies (Markers) $3.50 per yard

  • Grading $2.00 per piece per size $25 minimum per style

  • Markers

    • 1 to 5 pieces per size ($8.00)

    • 6 to 10 pieces per size ($12.00)

    • 11 to 20 pieces per size ($16.00)

    • 21 to 30 pieces per size ($24.00)

    • 31 to 50 pieces per size ($35.00)

    • 50 to 70 pieces per size ($42.00)

  • exporting files (dxf, gerber and lectra) $10.00 each

 
 

Turn around time

7 to 10 days, however we will let you know before work starts if it will take longer.

Important information

Samples are the most critical tool for sales and require time and effort to perfect. A first pattern will only be a production ready pattern after the same contractor that will be doing your production sews a sample, you should always have a sample made with the most updated pattern before going to production.

We do not work on paper patterns.
